Osmia leaiana (Kirby, 1802) European species, widely distributed in Slovenia. Oligolectic, specialized on Asteraceae. Nests in various
pre-existing cavities, mainly in burrows in wood. The cell partitions are
made of masticated leaves. Univoltine. Flies from June to August. |
