Osmia gallarum Spinola, 1808

 

 

Mediterranean species, distributed in the sub-Mediterranean and pre-Alpine (Polhograjsko hribovje) regions of Slovenia.

Oligolectic, specialized on Fabaceae. Nests in various pre-existing cavities, mainly in burrows in wood. The cell partitions are made of masticated leaves or pith.

Univoltine. Flies from May to July.

 

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Na Komenskem Krasu in v Polhograjskem hribovju.
