Female on a Fabaceae species. Rakitovec, Kraški rob, June 2009.

 

Osmia andrenoides Spinola, 1808

 

 

North Mediterranean species. In the sub-Mediterranean and Alpine (Soča valley) regions of Slovenia.

Oligolectic, specialized on Lamiaceae. Nests in empty snail shells. The cell partitions are made of masticated leaves.

Partly bivoltine. Flies from May to July and in August and September.

 

Female from Debeli rtič, Istra, collected in May 1995.

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

V Istri, na Krasu in v dolini Soče.
