Andrena atrata Friese, 1887 East Mediterranean species. In Slovenia in Hrastovlje (sub-Mediterranean
region). Probably polylectic species, visiting mainly Brassicaceae. Nests
in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself. Bivoltine. Flies in May and June and in July and August. |
