Osmia cyanoxantha Pérez, 1879 Mediterranean species. In Slovenia only near Padna in Istra
(sub-Mediterranean region). Visits Fabaceae. Nests in empty cells of mason bees of the
subgenus Chalicodoma (genus Megachile). The cell partitions are
made of masticated leaves (Benoist 1931). Univoltine. Flies from April to June. |
