Male on Centaurea. Gorjansko, Kras, July 2005.	Osmia croatica Friese, 1893 East Mediterranean species. In the sub-Mediterranean region of Slovenia. Oligolectic, specialized on Asteraceae (e.g. Centaurea). Nests in empty snail shells, cell partitions are made of chewed leaves (A. Müller). Univoltine. Flies from July to September.
	Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji. Na Komenskem Krasu in v Istri.
