Female building a new cell of her sand nest. Fontanigge, Sečovlje salt-pans, June 2004.	Megachile parietina (Geoffroy in Fourcroy, 1785) Mediterranean species. In the sub-Mediterranean and Alpine regions of Slovenia. Polylectic species, visits mainly Lamiaceae and Fabaceae. Nests made of sand are built in hollows in stones. Univoltine. Flies from April to June.
