Protosmia
tiflensis
(Morawitz, 1876) East Mediterranean species. In
Slovenia only at Stena near Dragonja in Istra (sub-Mediterranean region). It visits Fabaceae and Lamiaceae, I
observed it on Stachys recta (Lamiaceae). Nests probably in burrows in wood (Gräffe, 1892). Univoltine. Flies from April to June. |
