Osmia parietina Curtis, 1828 Boreomontane species. In Slovenia found only once on Mt. Krvavec (Alpine region). Polylectic species, visiting mainly Fabaceae. Nests in various
pre-existing cavities, mainly in burrows in wood. The cell partitions are
made of masticated leaves. Univoltine. Flies from May to August. |
