Osmia cephalotes longiceps Morawitz, 1876 East Mediterranean subspecies of a Mediterranean species. In the
sub-Mediterranean region of Slovenia. Probably polylectic species, visiting Fabaceae and Lamiaceae
(pers. obs.). Nests in burrows in wood. Cell partitions are made of
masticated leaves. Univoltine. Flies in May and June. |
