Female on Campanula pyramidalis. Veli Badin, Sočerga, Istra, August 2008.	Melitta tomentosa Friese, 1900 Endemic species of Istria and Quarner (Croatia, Slovenia and Italy). In Slovenia at the Karst edge in Slovene Istria (sub-Mediterranean region). Monolectic, on Campanula pyramidalis (Campanulaceae) specialized species (personal observations). Nests probably in burrows in the ground. Univoltine. Flies in August and September.
