Female from Ukanc, Bohinj, collected in July 1994.	Megachile pyrenaea Pérez, 1890 Boreomontane species. In Slovenia in Bohinj (Alpine region) and on Čaven (sub-Mediterranean region). Polylectic species. Nests under stones or in the ground. Cells are made of scraps of leaves. Univoltine. Flies from July to September.
	Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji. Najdena v Bohinju in na Čavnu.
