Megachile ligniseca (Kirby, 1802) European species, widely distributed in Slovenia. Polylectic species. Pers. observations: Asteraceae, Lamiaceae.
Nests in various pre-existing cavities, mainly in wood burrows. Cells are made
of scraps of leaves. Univoltine. Flies from June to August. |
