Female from the Sečovlje salt-pans, collected in July 1995.	Megachile deceptoria Pérez, 1890 Mediterranean species. In Slovenia only in the Sečovlje salt-pans (sub-Mediterranean region). Visits Fabaceae (e.g. Ononis, Lotus) (pers. obs.). Nests in the ground (Benoist 1940). Univoltine. Flies from June to September.
	Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji. Poznana je le iz Sečoveljskih solin.
