Hoplitis perezi (Ferton, 1895) Mediterranean and Central Asian species. In Slovenia at the edge
of the Karst plateau near Sela na Krasu (sub-Mediterranean region). Oligolectic, specialized on Convolvulus
(Convolvulaceae). Convolvulus cantabrica is its food plant in Slovenia.
Pieces of petals are also used for cell construction in burrows in the soil. Univoltine. Active in May and June. |
