Born: 14. February 1962 in Kranj, Slovenia.
Education: 1995, January, Ph.D. Biology. University in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Dissertation Thesis: Ectoparasites from the nests of the fat dormouse (Glis glis) and the house martin (Delichon urbica), and their vector role.
1991, December, M.Sc. Biology. University in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Master of Science Thesis: Population density, biomass and reproduction of small mammals of the Dinaric beech-fir forest at Sneznik between 1988 and 1990.
1987, July, B.A. Biology. University in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Graduation Thesis: Estimation of population density of small mammals of Ljubljansko barje.

Bioacoustics of singing cicadas (Hemiptera: Auchenorryncha: Cicadidae) and Birds (Aves).
