Tetraloniella salicariae (Lepeletier, 1841)

 

 

West Palaearctic species, widely distributed in Slovenia.

Oligolectic, specialized on Lythrum (Lythraceae), but collecting also pollen from Melilotus (Fabaceae). Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself.

Univoltine. Flies in July and August.

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Močno razširjena vrsta, ki pa je v zadnjih letih redka.
