Palaearctic species, widely distributed in Slovenia.

Polylectic species. Nests in various pre-existing cavities. The cell partitions are made of sand or clay.

Univoltine. Flies from April to June.

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Zelo razširjena in pogosta vrsta, ki pa ponekod postaja redkejša.
