Female from Dragonja, Istra, collected in May 1994.	Osmia brevicornis (Fabricius, 1798) Mediterranean species. In Slovenia only at Stena near Dragonja in Istria (sub-Mediterranean region). Oligolectic, specialized on Brassicaceae. Nests in various pre-existing cavities, e.g. in burrows in wood. The nest is not partitioned into cells. It is closed with masticated leaves. Univoltine. Flies from April to June.
	Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji. Najdena je bila le na Steni pri Dragonji.
