Female from Nova Gorica, collected in July 2018 by G. Seljak.	Megachile sculpturalis Smith, 1853 Oriental species, introduced into Europe in 2008. Distributed in West and Central Slovenia. Polylectic species with preference for Styphnolobium japonicum. Nests in pre-existing cavities. Nest plug is made of resin and mud. Univoltine. Active in July and August. Lit.: Gogala & Zadravec 2018
