Megachile burdigalensis Benoist, 1940

 

 

North Mediterranean species. In Slovenia in the Sečovlje salt-pans (sub-Mediterranean region).

Probably oligolectic, on Fabaceae specialized species. Known foodplant is Lotus tenuis (pers. obs.).

Univoltine. Flies in July and August.

 

 

Confused with M. dorsalis by some authors. See Gogala, A., 1998 (*pdf)

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Znana je le iz Sečoveljskih solin in Seče.
