Lithurgus cornutus (Fabricius, 1787) Mediterranean species. Only one male specimen was found in
Slovenia, near Petišovci (sub-Pannonian region). Oligolectic, specialized on Asteraceae. Nests in burrows in wood,
excavated by itself. Univoltine. Flies in July and August. |
