Male on Inula. Dragonja, Stena, July 2008.	Lithurgus chrysurus Fonscolombe, 1834 Mediterranean species. In Slovenia near the source of the Rižana river, near Dragonja and Sečovlje (sub-Mediterranean region). Oligolectic, specialized on Asteraceae (e.g. Centaurea). Nests in burrows in wood, excavated by itself. Univoltine. Flies in July and August.

	Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji. Vrsta je še prisotna v Sečoveljskih solinah in na Steni pri Dragonji, ob izviru Rižane pa je verjetno ni več.
