Lithurgus chrysurus Fonscolombe, 1834

 

 

Mediterranean species. In Slovenia near the source of the Rižana river, near Dragonja and Sečovlje (sub-Mediterranean region), in Celje and Škofljica pri Ljubljani (pre-Alpine region).

Oligolectic, specialized on Asteraceae (e.g. Centaurea). Nests in burrows in wood, excavated by itself.

Univoltine. Flies in July and August.

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Vrsta je prisotna v Istri, na Celjskem in v Škofljici pri Ljubljani.
