Lasioglossum nitidulum (Fabricius, 1804)

 

 

Polylectic species. Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself. Probably solitary species. Overwintered females appear in March, males fly from July.

Two subspecies exist in Slovenia:

L. n. nitidulum (Fabricius, 1804)

European subspecies. In central and east Slovenia.

L. n. fudakowskii (Noskiewicz, 1925)

East Mediterranean subspecies. In Slovenia in the sub-Mediterranean region and the Soča river valley.
