Hoplitis dalmatica (Morawitz, 1871)

 

 

North Mediterranean species. In Slovenia on the Kras plateau near Lipica and Škocjan, on Mts. Vremščica, Nanos and Čaven, in the foothills of Mt. Snežnik above Ilirska Bistrica and Pivka, and in Čičarija.

Oligolectic, specialized on Dipsacaceae. Nests in stone crevices are made of scraps of leaves. The cells are lined with petals.

Univoltine. Flies from May to July.

 

 

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Prebiva na travnatih kraških gorah, le ponekod tudi na nizkem Krasu.
