Eucera nigrifacies Lepeletier, 1841 Mediterranean species. In Slovenia only at the coast near
Strunjan and Dragonja. Probably polylectic species. It visits Malva (Malvaceae), Knautia (Dipsacaceae)
and other flowers, but I didn't observe it collecting pollen. Univoltine. Flies in May and June. |
