Male from Stena near Dragonja, Istra, collected in August 1993 on Eryngium amethystinum.	Coelioxys obtusa Pérez, 1884 Mediterranean species. In Slovenia found only once at Stena near the village Dragonja (sub-Mediterranean region). Cleptoparasitic species, host unknown. Univoltine. Flies in August.
	Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji. Le enkrat je bila najdena na Steni pri Dragonji.
