Female on Ornithogalum pyramidale. Dragonja, Stena, Istra, June 2008.	Chelostoma mocsaryi Schletterer, 1889 East Mediterranean species. In Slovenia at the coast near Dragonja and Strunjan and at the Karst edge near Rakitovec (sub-Mediterranean region). Oligolectic, specialized on Ornithogalum (Hyacinthaceae) (pers. obs.). Nests in hollow plant stems (pers. obs.). Univoltine. Flies in May and June.

	Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji. Vrsta je prisotna v Istri.
