A couple on Vicia cracca. Lukovica pri Brezovici, Ljubljansko barje, August 1997.

 

Anthidium septemspinosum Lepeletier, 1841

 

 

Palaearctic species. In central and east Slovenia.

Polylectic species, visiting mainly Lamiaceae and Fabaceae. The cell partitions are made of cottony plant down. I have personally observed it exclusively on Vicia (Fabaceae).

Univoltine. Flies from June to August.

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Vrsta je redka in ogrožena.
