Anthophora bimaculata (Panzer, 1798)

 

 

West Palaearctic species. In Slovenia along the Sava river near Ljubljana (pre-Alpine region).

Polylectic species, visiting mainly Asteraceae (e.g. Centaurea). Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself.

Univoltine. Flies from June to August.

 

 

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

Le na Jarškem produ ob Savi pri Ljubljani.
