Andrena rosae Panzer, 1801

 

 

Eurosiberian species. In the pre-Alpine, Dinaric and sub-Pannonian regions of Slovenia.

Oligolectic, specialized on Apiaceae. Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself.

Univoltine. Flies in July and August.

According to Reemer et al. (2008) bivoltine, A. stragulata being the spring generation.
