Andrena nuptialis Pérez, 1902 North Mediterranean species. In Slovenia on Mt. Kavčič
at the Karst edge in Čičarija (Istria). Summer generation is oligolectic, specialized on Apiaceae (Eryngium
amethystinum in Slovenia). Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by
itself. Bivoltine. Flies in April and May and in July and August. Only
summer generation was found in Slovenia. |
