Female on Salix. Vel. Račna, Radensko polje, March 2011.

 

Andrena clarkella (Kirby, 1802)

 

 

Holarctic species. In the Dinaric, pre-Alpine, pre-Dinaric and sub-Pannonian regions of Slovenia.

Oligolectic, specialized on Salix (Salicaceae). Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself.

Univoltine. Flies in March and April.

 

Female from Savlje, Ljubljana, collected at the Sava river in March 1992.

 

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.
