Andrena chrysopus Pérez, 1903 East Mediterranean species. In Slovenia in the Kras
(sub-Mediterranean region). Oligolectic, specialized on Asparagus (Asparagaceae). Its
foodplant in the Kras is Asparagus officinalis. Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself. Univoltine. Active in May and June. |
